Showbiz Christchurch Presents the New Zealand Premiere of the Critically Acclaimed Musical Come From Away.

Coming to the Isaac Theatre Royal in April 2025

Showbiz Christchurch is thrilled to announce the New Zealand premiere of the Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical Come From Away. This heartwarming and inspiring production will be staged at the Isaac Theatre Royal from April 11th to 26th, 2025, offering local audiences a chance to experience the uplifting true story that has captivated theatre-goers worldwide.

Set against the backdrop of the 9/11 tragedy, Come From Away tells the remarkable story of 7,000 passengers who were diverted to the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, after the US airspace was closed. As the world grappled with fear and uncertainty, the people of Gander opened their hearts and homes, providing refuge and kindness to those stranded. Through this extraordinary display of community and compassion, Come From Away reveals the power of humanity in the face of adversity.
